Project Description
The Pacific Coast Campus (PCC) of Long Beach City College (LBCC) was opened as an extension to the main campus (Liberal Arts Campus-LAC) in 1949 as demand for classes, in general, increased dramatically. The Campus is located on a 30 acre site near the center of Long Beach. Many of the Trade and Industrial Technologies vocational programs in the fields of welding, drafting, refrigeration and air conditioning, aviation maintenance and pilot training, electronics and electricity, auto and diesel mechanics, sheet metal and horticulture and located at the PCC.
